African Daisies for Brilliant Container Plants

African Daisies, Osteospermum Nasinga, have always been one of my favorite container plants because of their amazing combination of colors.  This year we bought three or four Osteospermum Nasinga - Purple.  They have a purple center with different shades of burgundy to terra cotta petals. Each flower is subtly different and brilliant against a back drop of grass.  I think I'll get more to plant in the Potager.

I picked up some of these last week at Junco's Nursery. They were in 4" pots so I am still waiting for them to bloom, but the colors are so good and they will match a wallflower that they are planted next to.
